As I earlier promised on my last
post on this blog, having started a masters degree program online, I
will love to highlight the advantages so far. As I once indicated, the
choice of opting for an online masters degree program was never one I
ever thought I would make.
In my country of origin, we had a
national open university which was functioning with a very flexible
educational patter, but why did a number of people dread it? That’s a
question I may not be able to answer at this very moment.
Students from that university were
often seen as persons who had almost little or no educational
qualification, they were often relegated due to the ‘openness’ of the
universities they attended, and truth be told, some of them weren’t
doing better or even close to as good as others in full time functioning
universities performing.
Before I go on and on to rant, I’ll
like to bring us back home and address the advantages I have benefited
from since I followed my decision of signing up for a masters degree

studies in order to gain more knowledge, I also have the opportunity to
work and earn more, by doing so, I become more of an asset than a
liability to friends and relatives around me. I do not have to bother

I really feel great that I can have
all the fun in the world with my friends and still go back home to study
online for my masters program. This does not in any way reduce my
activeness in other extra-curricular activities.
